Description
Supports the establishment of farm-based timber plantations (woodlots, shelterbelts, wide-spaced plantings), integrated into whole-farm plans.
Designed to diversify farm income through timber production, carbon credits/sequestration, shelter, biodiversity, and environmental benefits.
Has funded multiple rounds (three completed rounds), supporting over 361 hectares of new farm forestry across Gippsland (Bass Coast, Baw Baw, South and East Gippsland).
